Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions governing cancellations, refunds, credits, and payment disputes for services, subscriptions, digital course access, and related educational offerings provided by Learnisphere ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We aim to maintain a fair and transparent refund process while preserving the value of our digital products, educational content, and platform resources.

By purchasing, subscribing to, or enrolling in any Learnisphere service, plan, course, membership, or digital offering, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not complete your order or enrollment.

2. Nature of Digital Products and Services

Learnisphere primarily provides digital educational products and services, including course access, membership features, downloadable learning materials, recorded lessons, assessments, certificates, and related support resources. Because these offerings are digital in nature and often become accessible immediately after purchase, refunds may be limited once access has been granted or content has been consumed.

Our refund decisions take into account factors such as the type of purchase, the time elapsed since purchase, the level of content accessed, the submission of assignments or assessments, and any evidence of misuse, fraud, or abuse of the platform.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

3.1 Course Purchases

Refund requests for one-time course purchases may be considered within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that:

  • The course has not been completed in full or substantially consumed.
  • No certificate of completion has been issued.
  • No final assessment or significant graded component has been submitted.
  • The purchase was made directly through Learnisphere and not through a third-party marketplace or educational partner.

If a user has already consumed a substantial portion of the course, downloaded core materials, completed a majority of lessons, or received a certificate, the refund request may be denied even if submitted within the 14-day period.

3.2 Subscription Plans and Memberships

Subscription fees for monthly or annual memberships are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or expressly approved by Learnisphere.

If you believe you were charged in error, duplicated, or billed after a valid cancellation request, please contact us promptly so we can review the transaction.

3.3 Bundles, Cohorts, and Special Programs

Refund rules for bundled offers, cohort-based programs, limited-access workshops, live training sessions, mentorship packages, or discounted promotional programs may differ from standard course purchases. Where specific refund conditions are disclosed at checkout, on the sales page, or in a program agreement, those disclosed terms will control in addition to this policy.

4. Non-Refundable Items

Unless otherwise required by law, the following items are typically non-refundable:

  • Completed or substantially consumed digital courses.
  • Issued certificates, credentials, or course completion records.
  • Downloaded templates, files, workbooks, or bonus resources.
  • Private coaching, mentoring, consultation, or customized support already delivered.
  • Subscription periods already started.
  • Promotional, discounted, final-sale, or limited-time special offer purchases marked as non-refundable.
  • Third-party fees, taxes, foreign exchange fees, and payment processor charges where non-recoverable.

5. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, you must contact Learnisphere in writing and provide enough information for us to review your case. Your request should include:

  • Your full name and the email address used for the purchase.
  • The name of the course, subscription, or service purchased.
  • The purchase date and transaction reference, if available.
  • A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
  • Any supporting information that may help us evaluate the request.

6. Review and Decision Timeline

Once we receive a complete refund request, we will review it in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 7 to 14 business days. The review process may take longer during high-volume periods or if additional transaction verification is required.

If your refund is approved, the amount will typically be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing times after approval depend on your bank, card issuer, and payment provider, and may take several additional business days.

7. Partial Refunds and Account Credits

In some situations, Learnisphere may offer a partial refund, platform credit, or transfer of value to another course or service instead of a full refund. This may occur where:

  • A portion of the purchased content has already been accessed or used.
  • A scheduling or technical issue affected only part of the service.
  • The user wishes to move from one course to another of similar value.
  • An accommodation is granted as a customer service exception.

Any such accommodation is made at our discretion unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Technical Issues

If you experience technical problems that materially prevent access to purchased content, we encourage you to contact us before requesting a refund. In many cases, access issues can be resolved through technical support, browser troubleshooting, account verification, or device compatibility guidance.

A refund will not automatically be issued for temporary service interruptions, local connectivity issues, device limitations, unsupported browsers, forgotten login credentials, or interruptions caused by third-party services, unless the issue is determined to be primarily attributable to Learnisphere and cannot be reasonably resolved.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to seek resolution, we reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to your account while the dispute is under review. We also reserve the right to provide payment processors and financial institutions with relevant records, including enrollment history, usage logs, access records, communications, and proof of delivery of digital services.

Fraudulent, abusive, or repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account suspension, denial of future purchases, or additional administrative action where permitted by law.

10. Cancellation of Subscriptions

You may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time through your account settings, billing portal, or by contacting support. Cancellation will generally take effect at the end of the active billing period unless otherwise stated during checkout or in your plan terms.

Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not retroactively reverse charges already processed. You remain responsible for any fees incurred before the cancellation became effective.

11. Promotional Offers and Gift Purchases

Refund rights for purchases made through gift codes, referral discounts, scholarships, bundles, or promotional offers may be limited. If a purchase included bonus items, bundled pricing, or time-sensitive incentives, any approved refund may be adjusted to reflect the value of content or services already redeemed.

Gift purchases may only be refunded to the original purchaser and only where the gifted course or membership has not been redeemed or materially accessed, unless otherwise required by law.

12. Regional Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you reside in a location that grants statutory cancellation rights, digital content protections, or non-excludable refund rights, those laws will apply to the extent required.

Where legally required, Learnisphere will honor mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights for eligible consumers, subject to any lawful exceptions applicable to digital content that has already been delivered or accessed with prior consent.

13. Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to refuse refund requests where we determine, in our sole but reasonable discretion, that a request is made in bad faith or involves misuse of the platform, including but not limited to repeated course consumption followed by refund attempts, multiple refund patterns, unauthorized content sharing, payment fraud, or policy manipulation.

14. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, product offerings, legal requirements, or payment operations. Any revised version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
